Before the RetainerQuickBooks Cleanup and Catch-Up

Two years of uncategorized transactions. A bank account that has never once reconciled. A balance sheet with a plug in it and a tax preparer who keeps asking questions you cannot answer.

This is fixable, and it is a fixed-fee project with a defined end, not an hourly meter.

Projects start at $1,750. Price is quoted flat after the $500 Books Assessment, with 50% due at signing. Most clients move onto a monthly retainer once the cleanup lands, which is the whole idea.
QuickBooks cleanup details
  • Every bank, credit card, and loan account reconciled through today
  • Chart of accounts rebuilt into something you can actually read
  • Uncategorized and miscategorized transactions corrected
  • Balance sheet cleaned so the numbers tie to something real
  • Prior years closed and handed to your tax preparer
  • Written summary of what was wrong and what changed

We do not prepare tax returns. We keep the books tax-ready and work with your CPA or tax preparer.

The Principal

Ryan Booth, CPA: 20 Years Inside Finance Departments

Ryan Booth, CPA, has spent 20 years inside finance departments, most recently as Director of Finance and Accounting at Cambrian Innovation.

He took the month-end close there from 25 business days to 5. At Lean Enterprise Institute he cut the close from 18 days to 8 while the accounting team went from 2.5 people down to 1, and pulled more than $1 million out of carrying AR. He has owned ASC 606 revenue recognition end to end and delivered clean, unmodified audit opinions.

Most bookkeepers hand you off when the questions get hard. Nomad Bookkeeping is one CPA across the bookkeeping and the advisory, so there is no handoff as you grow.
